Pre-Prep
Child-led Approach
From the earliest days, we embrace a child-led approach rooted in the Curiosity Approach and Forest School principles. As children move through Reception and into Years 1 and 2, we gently introduce more formal academics while continuing to prioritise creativity, wellbeing, and joy in learning.
A Love of Learning
We foster a love of learning through exploration, imagination, and hands-on discovery. These formative years are focused on embedding essential early skills in a natural, engaging way that integrate seamlessly into each child’s daily life.
Dedicated Class Teachers
Every child in Pre-Prep is supported by a dedicated class teacher who serves as the main point of contact both academically and pastorally. Our small class sizes allow for individualised attention and flexibility to follow the children’s unique interests and learning styles.
Academics
Children benefit from a rich curriculum enhanced by specialist teaching. In the Early Years, this includes French, Music, and Swimming. From Year 1 onwards, pupils enjoy lessons in Art, Design & Technology, and Computing. Our extended school day allows time for balanced routines, ample space for play, exploration, and meaningful breaks.
Co-Curricular Life
Our outstanding co-curricular programme gives children the chance to discover passions and develop new skills early on. Whether it’s gardening club, horse riding, hockey, or any of the many other activities on offer, there’s something for every child to enjoy and explore.
